Hi, it is me Eno. A mother to my lovely daughter, Hana Zahra and a wife to the greatest man, Mohamad Hazwan. As a mom, my child's future is the most important thing in my life. 

After giving birth my daughter, after a long discussion with my husband, i quit my job to take care of our daughter. But I have a dream. I cannot achieve it if I'm just sit without doing anything. Ben Arend — At 16, Youngest Platinum in Vemma History!

For high school sophomore and Vemma Brand Partner Ben Arend, Vemma came along at just the right time. “My parents had been telling me I had to get a job. Vemma’s a great opportunity for young people. They agreed to support me with Vemma, and I appreciate the flexibility of running my own business. Sure, it’s hard sometimes when your friends want to hang out on a Friday night, but it’s worth it. Stick to your priorities. Hard work pays off.” Ben has progressed rapidly with Vemma, becoming the youngest Diamond in the history of the company. He’s on track to hitting Platinum this month!

Starting his Business

Ben first heard about Vemma from his friend Cody Barton. “Cody’s basically like my big brother now, through building Vemma together. Cody just graduated from high school and is now Executive, but at the time he was Gold, so he wasn’t making much money yet. Even though I was so young, he took me seriously. Cody explained the healthy energy drink and kept mentioning the long term. I went home and talked to my parents. We had a meeting with Cody, and a week later I joined. I signed up about three weeks before last year’s Convention, so I went to Convention as Bronze.” Ben says that his next goal is to qualify for a BMW 335i Coupe by the end of his sophomore year.*

Overcoming the High School Mentality

“One of my first problems early on was that most kids my age aren’t that motivated to work hard and take this seriously,” he says. “They’re still living off mom and dad, and many don’t see why they have to do this. I overcame that by working with kids slightly older than me.” Ben encourages new Brand Partners to stick to the proven system and stay in contact with their upline leaders. “I tell them, don’t think you have to do this all by yourself. My upline helped me from the start, doing calls, trainings, pushing me and motivating me to get to the next level. I didn’t hold back. I was excited, I got my Silver pack, talked to my friends, got some friends on board, and then built my teams. Now it’s expanded out of the country.”

The Vemma Difference

Ben says the biggest impact Vemma has had on him is how it has changed him personally. “It’s made me more of a positive person, looking at the positive side of things. It makes me wake up and do stuff and accomplish things. I’m more outgoing, more motivated and driven. When I first started with Vemma, I was motivated by money and earning enough so I didn’t have to get a regular job.* Now, I’m more focused on helping people and helping them get to where I am. I’m a better person.” Long term, Ben plans to graduate from high school, continue building his Vemma business, go to college, and someday invest in housing and stocks.

Best Practices to Educate Youngsters the value of Money.

When we talk about money,people tend to spend their money on the thing they likes and loved.
Parents are the best educator but how about their children.Do they appreciate the money that their parents give?
Nowadays we can see most of the urban teenagers spend their times at the knownly malls.Meeting friends at expensive coffeeshops,watching movies and shopping branded shirts and pants.Still not mentioning about the latest gadgets in hand.

Here are the "best" practices that can be easily implemented:-
1) Use Jars
- Get your teenager to save his money in separate jars. These specific jars can be allocated for the future,education and indulgences. Examples: Get 2 jars,1 for savings & 1 for spending.So they can see the money increase or decreased.When they want to spend on something,allowed them to spend from spending jars.It will teach them to make a decision and sees the money in the jar will decreased which is so hard for them to save the money.

2) Let them decide who pays
- When it comes to big-ticket items,let them decide who will pay.Offers to pay for a cheaper alternative if your children contemplating buying something pricey.Teach them differentiate between needs and wants.For example,if they want to purchase a computer,offer to pay a basic one but if they insists on a more expensive model with the latest specifications and such,let your child know they have to top up the price difference.This also will teach them to think in decision making.

3) Motivate them to do better
- Get them motivated to want to do more. Give them an idea of how much they can earn.This can be done by setting a range of "payments" that depends on how well they complete a task.Example asking them to do a house chores.We as a parents can offer a money.If they did well,we pay extras for them.This way,they can decide how much they want to get and it motivates them to want to do better.

KANSER SERVIKS : AKIBAT AMBIL MUDAH GEJALA AWAL

Pn. Faridah, 49 tahun merupakan bekas pesakit kanser serviks. Dia disahkan oleh doktor bahawa dia menghidap kanser serviks pada tahun 2004. Kini, Pn.Faridah tidak lagi menderita akibat kanser serviks malah menekankan setiap wanita perlu melakukan saringan dan pengesanan awal penyakit kanser ketiga yang biasa berlaku di kalangan wanita Malaysia.

"Rasa tidak prihatin terhadap gejala-gejala awal telah membuatkan saya kehilangan sistem peranakan saya. Kos merawat penyakit saya ini lebih daripada kos mencegah. Selepas saya melalui setiap rawatan dari 2002 hingga pulih, kos rawatan itu hampir RM500,000. Kalaulah daripada awal dapat dicegah, kos rawatan tidak akan mencecah sebanyak itu. Pengesanan awal lebih penting. Ia mampu mengelakkan penyakit itu lebih teruk."

Wanita bersikap positif ini menyarankan agar wanita untuk menjalani kehidupan yang sihat bagi mengelakkan kanser serviks.

"Kanser serviks adalah disebabkan oleh virus. Pemakanan untuk melawan virus itu amat penting. Bagi mereka yang telah berkahwin perlulah melakukan Pap Smear. Bagi yang belum berkahwin, mereka disarankan mengambil vaksin kerana itu adalah langkah-langkah pencegahan awal.

Bukan sahaja wanita, malah lelaki terutamanya suami, perlu sedar tentang penyakit kanser serviks. Ini adalah kerana virus ini juga boleh disebarkan daripada seorang lelaki kepada wanita. Lelaki juga patut sedar kebersihan diri mereka. Sokongan emosi kepada isteri adalah amat penting. Kadangkala perkataan seperti "Engkau dah tidak ada apa-apa" boleh menyebabkan stress kepada wanita. Kita bukannya mahu, tetapi itu adalah takdir."

Faridah memang tidak pernah terfikir bahawa dia akan menghidap penyakit kanser. Malah apabila dia mengalami gejala-gejala seperti sakit di bahagian peranakan, sakit di bahagian ari-arim keputihan dan sengugut yang melampau, dia tidak mengendahkannya.

"Saya ambik mudah gejala-gejala tersebut." Luah Faridah dengan kesal.

"Saya rasa sakit yang amat sangat. Lalu doktor melakukan pemeriksaan dan mendapati apendiks yang hampir pecah, dan telah menyebabkan jangkitan pada bahagian ovari kanan. Setelah itu, saya tidak lagi merasa sakit."

Faridah tidak lagi mengalami sebarang masalah kesihatan setelah pembedahan tersebut dilakukan. Tutur ibu kepada Siti Nadiah, 24, dan Muhammad Naim, 21 ini lagi, apabila dia dan suami  gagal dalam percubaan untuk hamil  selepas dua tahun pembedahan dilakukan, kegagalan tersebut telah mendedahkan masalah sebenar yang tersembunyi pada tubuhnya.

Pada tahun 2004, Faridah mengalami sakit yang sama. Dia kemudiannya kembali ke hospital yang sama untuk mendapatkan rawatan.

“Pada masa itu berlaku pendarahan dan saya mengalami susah buang air besar. Kemudiannya doktor mengatakan bahawa ovari kiri saya rosak dan menasihatkan agar saya untuk melakukan pembedahan kali kedua.

Setelah berbincang dengan suami, saya agak keberatan melakukan pembedahan. Kami buat keputusan berjumpa dengan pakar sakit puan yang lain. Doktor kedua ini mengatakan bahawa saya perlu melakukan biopsi.

Selepas biopsi dilakukan, dua minggu kemudian doktor tersebut mengatakan bahawa saya menghidap kanser. Saya menyangka kanser ovari sebaliknya doktor mengatakan bahawa saya menghidap kanser serviks.”

Jelas Faridah lagi pengesahan daripada doktor itu amat menakutkan dirinya. Doktor memberitahu yang dia perlu menjalani kemoterapi untuk mengecutkan tumor sebelum tumor itu boleh dibedah dan dibuang.

Setelah berbincang dengan suaminya, Faridah bersetuju menjalani kemoterapi. Dia melakukan sebanyak lapan kitaran, bermula Oktober 2004. Pada Mac 2005, Faridah menjalani pembedahan membuang histerektomi sekali gus membuang tumor agar ia tidak merebak kepada organ-organ penting di tubuh.

“Keputusan tersebut adalah di tangan saya. Sama ada setuju atau tidak pembedahan tersebut dilakukan. Setelah berbincang dengan suami dan keluarga, mereka menyokong sepenuhnya agar saya menjalani pembedahan. Malah suami berkata, walaupun saya terpaksa membuang sistem peranakan, dia bersetuju kerana kami telah ada sepasang anak yang menyerikan hidup. Jika itu yang terbaik maka saya patut teruskan.”

Katanya lagi, di samping kemoterapi, dia juga perlu menjalani rawatan radioterapi sebanyak 25 kali dan disusuli dengan 'brachytherapy' (antibodi dimasukkan melalui saluran vagina).

Pada Februari 2006, sewaktu pemeriksaan susulan, Faridah diberitahu terdapat ketumbuhan di hatinya dan dia perlu menjalani rawatan 'Radio Frequency Abilation' (RFA). Rawatan yang perlu dibuat selama sehari itu adalah kerana ia ada kena mengena dengan pengambilan hormon selepas rawatan.
